We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Technical Project Manager to oversee projects across the Product Engineering team. Our ideal candidate will excel in managing cross functional teams and driving projects from inception through delivery, ensuring they meet or exceed stakeholder expectations in the terms of scope, quality, and schedule. In addition to internal projects, our ideal candidate will work with vendors and clients to ensure successful implementations and rollouts of new capabilities.
What you'll be doing...

  • Lead deadline-driven, team-based projects within the Product Engineering organization, facilitating overall project objectives, goals, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to define project scope and goals, ensuring alignment with product vision and customer needs.
  • Plan, prioritize, implement, and adjust delivery schedules, scope, resourcing, and quality based on project requirements and stakeholder consultation.
  • Negotiate resource needs and coordinate technical resources for assigned projects, including domestic and international resources.
  • Maintain project documentation such as plans, schedules, issue lists, risk registers, and status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities between team members and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, manage conflict, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Utilize methodologies, processes, project tools, and best practices to accelerate project delivery and foster continuous improvement.
  • Identify project dependencies and stakeholder influences, collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure seamless integration and project success.
  • Manage the product engineering efforts involving cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market requirements.
  • Analyze business and systems requirements based on target markets, working closely with product management, development, and customers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Plan and prepare project launch and direct interdepartmental activities to ensure timely completion and successful product releases.


What you'll bring to us...

  • 10+ Years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager
  • Strong proficiency with data exchange principles, including REST APIs and Flat Files
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and SQL for data analysis.
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, coding standards, and code review practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and interactions.
  • Proven ability to influence technical teams and roadmaps
  • Superior organizational skills and decision making
  • Proven interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
