Parsons is seeking a Principal Systems Programmer who has extensive experience with Navy software systems. In this role you will get to support a high visibility Navy Program.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Design, integrate, and maintain complex systems of systems that meet government requirements and specifications
- Developing and integrating system designs that trace to government requirements
- Assessing system performance and implementing improvements for efficiency
- Working with project leads, developers, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders to ensure successful system delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI and ability to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph
- 10 years or more of professional experience as a systems engineer for Navy software systems
- Master’s degree, or an authorized substitution for a bachelor’s degree plus four additional years of relevant experience.
- Experience with system-of-systems engineering
- Experience with requirements traceability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated experience with system architecture and technical design
- Experience with integration of complex Navy or DoW software systems
- Experience with systems deployed at the tactical edge
Desired Qualifications:
- An active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly is preferred
- Experience with Model-Base-Systems Engineering
- Experience supporting Navy programs, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, NIWC Atlantic
