About the Role
As an Enterprise Digital Application Expert, you will contribute to the design and development of new solutions for the finance and controlling areas. You will apply best practices and experience to enhance our finance and controlling processes and toolset. In addition to leading and participating in projects, you will regularly collaborate with external vendors and consultants, which must be managed effectively to ensure successful project execution and integration. Beyond project work, the Enterprise Digital Application Expert will also provide third-level support for all our business units in the finance and controlling areas.
What You Will Do
- Work as part of a project team, serving as lead and/or member, to coordinate development and determine project scope and limitations.
- Take ownership of SAP processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
- Translate complex business requirements into SAP configurations and solutions, leveraging best practices to address organizational challenges.
- Play a significant role in designing and structuring SAP solution architecture.
- Demonstrate expert-level skills in customizing SAP modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Systems (PS), Asset Accounting (AA).
- Review ABAP coding to identify and resolve issues.
- Evaluate project requests describing user needs to estimate the time and cost required to accomplish the project.
- Conduct detailed analysis sessions with end users and business SMEs to interpret complex business requirements.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum of 8 years of practical experience in implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) modules.
- Extensive background in global SAP S/4HANA FICO rollouts and implementations.
- Experience in SAP processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
- Highly skilled in analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic project environments and successfully manage multiple projects as both lead and support team member.
- Proficient in English with outstanding communication abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and proven expertise in relationship management, conflict resolution, collaboration, and negotiation.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
- SAP S/4 HANA FI certification
- Possess skills in cross-cultural awareness, influence, communication, and problem solving.
