Position Overview:
Red Arch Solutions is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to join a priority program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. We are looking for a Software Developer with experience in full-stack development to support Agile software projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, React, Node.js, AngularJS/Angular 2+, jQuery, and MongoDB. Responsibilities include developing and consuming web services, executing test procedures, ensuring 508 Compliance for accessibility, maintaining quality control, and creating technical documentation. Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence is required.
Hybrid telework is a possibility depending on tasking.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus Twenty (20) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes.
Note: Twenty four (24) years total of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with consuming and writing web services
- Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience in ensuring software development adheres to 508 Compliance standards for accessibility
- Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience using with Jira and Confluence
- Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
