Principal Software Engineer

Summary of Job:

As a member of our Technology Team, you’ll be on the front lines of a massive expansion in our value props using the latest technology while building best-in-class cloud systems.  Principal Software Engineers provide the seniority, mentorship, and decision making that propels engineering productivity. This role reports to our Chief Technology Officer.

Description of Job Duties:

• Participate in hiring a best-in-class team - recruit, vet, and onboard candidates.
• Mentor other team members. Serve as a role model of efficient, impactful, collaborative, and committed software engineering. Challenge and develop your coworkers through innovative thinking and calculated risk-taking.
• Amplify the design and construction activities of team members. Carry responsibility for quality and evolution of our products.
• Design and construct world-class customer experiences using a modern tech stack (NodeJS + React + Redis + Elasticsearch + Python and Javascript).
• Deliver products rapidly and iteratively. Work in an experiment-driven environment with equal parts direct customer feedback and user behavioral metrics.
• Architect scalable and performant systems that drive internal business operations using data processing pipelines and machine learning.
• Create new technologies that delight customers while respecting the constraints found in the healthcare industry.
• Evangelize technology throughout the company. Find solutions to challenges facing Customer Care, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Sales.

Required Education, Experience and Special Skills:

• 10+ years of full lifecycle software engineering, preferably using dynamic languages. Experienced with mobile and web product.

• Healthcare Industry experience or Pharmacy Industry experience
