Join our dynamic streaming company as a Principal Software Engineer, specializing in the Kepler OS for Fire TV Devices! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to play a key role in developing our streaming application using React Native for the innovative Kepler operating system. Collaborate with a talented team of developers, product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cutting-edge streaming experiences to our customers on Fire TV Devices.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Contribute to the development of our streaming application using React Native, specifically tailored for the Kepler OS on Fire TV Devices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, design specifications, and user expectations.

• Implement features and functionality, adhering to coding standards, best practices, and industry trends in React Native development.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and alignment with established architectural principles.

• Work closely with the QA team to define and execute effective testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and timely bug resolution.

• Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in React Native development and streaming technologies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Identify and address technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.

• Contribute to a positive team environment through open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in React Native application development, with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality React Native applications.

• Strong understanding of the React Native development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Experience with streaming technologies and media playback.

• Familiarity with the Kepler operating system is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable and maintainable React Native applications.

• Proficiency in using development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Git, and Jira.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to overcome technical challenges efficiently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
