What you'll work on:
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive and efficient test strategies for the different systems making up the product.
- Drive design, implementation and deployment of changes to improve systems and end-to-end automated and exploratory testing using SIL/HIL methodologies.
- Develop and execute automated and manual smoke, regression, functional, and acceptance tests.
- Report defects and investigate/debug failures.
- Identify trends in failures and implement countermeasures to prevent the recurrence of failures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of our robotics systems.
- Model and foster a culture of collaboration and ownership while promoting a growth mindset.
- Occasionally travel to site installations to extend testing and support store activities
What we're looking for:
- Bachelors in Robotics, Computer or Electrical Engineering plus 10 years of professional experience OR Masters in Robotics, Computer or Electrical Engineering and 8 years of professional experience
- Prior experience in end-to-end design, development, and deployment of test systems
- Highly experienced in Python programming.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interest in learning new systems and technologies.
- Ability to design and execute through test strategies and plans based on requirements and functional designs
- Experience working with source control software and CI/CD environments like Jenkins.
- Experience working in robotics, fulfillment or industrial automated systems is a plus
- Competitive pay and performance-based bonus awards
- Competitive 401(k) matching program, stock purchase plans, and equity opportunities
- Comprehensive health, vision, and insurance plans with options for dependent coverage
- Unlimited PTO for salaried employees, covering vacation, holidays, and personal days
- Up to 12 weeks of fully paid maternity/paternity leave
- Special Walmart discounts for in-store and online purchases
- Complimentary daily lunches, beverages, and snacks
- Other benefits include short-term and long-term disability, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more
