The role
Infinite Reality is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with an emphasis on Machine Learning to join our world-building team and drive the future of AI-powered virtual environments. In this role, you will be at the cutting edge of creating intelligent systems that empower our world builder platform to generate immersive 3D worlds from vast datasets, using advanced AI techniques such as large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and machine learning.
You will take the lead in developing and refining the algorithms and systems that enable LLMs to autonomously create complex and dynamic virtual environments. From 3D models and terrain to animations and interactive elements, your work will be instrumental in allowing AI to synthesize diverse forms of digital content into cohesive, interactive virtual worlds. You'll be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions to handle the growing complexity of both AI-driven and user-generated content within our engine.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists, and technical artists, you will define best practices for integrating generative AI technologies into the world-building pipeline. You'll leverage procedural generation frameworks that handle a wide range of assets, including 3D models, shaders, materials, and particle systems, allowing for dynamic world creation that leverages AI's full potential.
- Develop Scalable Pipelines for Asset Integration: Collaborate with technical artists and engineers to define and build scalable pipelines that ensure seamless integration of diverse 3D assets into the procedural generation process. You will ensure assets are prepared and formatted to be easily manipulated by LLMs, supporting a wide variety of user-generated and AI-generated content.
- Optimize for Performance & Scalability: Focus on making world-building systems not only functional but also highly scalable and performant. You'll work to optimize AI-driven procedural workflows, ensuring they can handle large datasets and multiple simultaneous interactions, all while maintaining high-quality virtual environments at scale.
- Collaborate with Cross-Disciplinary Teams: Partner with engineers, data scientists, technical artists, and designers to define and implement innovative solutions for creating dynamic virtual worlds. - Extensive Machine Learning & AI Experience: You bring 10+ years of experience in machine learning, particularly in the development of systems for procedural content generation. You are skilled in working with large language models (LLMs) and other AI-driven technologies to create dynamic, scalable virtual environments. - Strong 3D Graphics & Procedural Content Generation Expertise: With significant experience in 3D graphics programming and procedural content generation, you are proficient in handling 3D assets such as models, textures, shaders, and particle systems. Salary Range
$187,000-$234,000 USD
Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
