As a Principal Software Engineer - Digital Customer Journey, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how Australian businesses access lending through digital-first, AI-enabled experiences. Working within Digital & Assisted Lending and reporting to the Crew Tech Lead, you'll provide technical leadership across some of the Bank’s most critical customer journeys, powering experiences across NetBank, the CommBank App, and self-service lending channels. Bring proven Principal Engineer or Technical Leadership experience, owning end-to-end engineering outcomes across complex, customer-facing digital platforms at scale.
Remain deeply hands-on across architecture, design, coding, troubleshooting and production optimisation, with expertise in modern .NET Core and C# development.
Have strong full-stack capability across React, Next.js and API-driven ecosystems, delivering secure, accessible and high-performing customer experiences.

Skills Required
- Proven Principal Engineer or Technical Leadership experience owning end-to-end engineering outcomes
