  • Partner with Product Management, Product Owners, Agile Team Leads, and System Architecture to evaluate feasibility, shape solution options, and define incremental delivery plans.
  • Lead architecture and design decisions within the scope of assigned initiatives, aligning implementation with product strategy and system architecture.
  • Develop and review critical software components, prototypes, interfaces, and technical designs, while supporting maintenance and modernization of existing codebases.
  • Drive engineering excellence in code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, reliability, scalability, and secure design.
  • Identify and manage cross-team technical dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and nonfunctional requirements in support of PI objectives.
  • Participate in SAFe events and provide technical leadership during PI Planning, backlog refinement, system demos, and Inspect and Adapt.
  • Mentor senior engineers and feature leads, establish reusable patterns, and promote knowledge transfer across product areas to reduce technical silos.
What You'll Need

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Typically 8+ years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership for enterprise or industrial products.
  • Expert software development skills in C#/.NET/Java, with strong experience in APIs, data persistence, distributed systems, and modern architecture practices.
  • Proven ability to lead the design and delivery of complex software capabilities across components or teams.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, telemetry, performance, reliability, and secure development practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business priorities, customer workflows, and technical constraints into implementable solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience influencing technical decisions, resolving ambiguity, and aligning stakeholders without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, mentoring, and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience developing enterprise, industrial, scientific, or data-intensive software applications is desirable.
  • Familiarity with complex business domains, distributed systems, workflow-driven applications, mathematical modeling, optimization, analytics, or decision-support systems is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-native systems, REST APIs, microservices, containers or orchestration, telemetry, and modernization of legacy applications.
  • Required experience working in Agile software development environments, with hands-on participation in planning, execution, and delivery activities. Strong understanding of SAFe practices, including PI Planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, risk identification and mitigation, iterative delivery, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience developing shared technical patterns and growing engineering capability across multiple teams or product areas.
