We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Sales Operations Specialist for a senior level role within our Process Technology business group, based in our Charlotte, NC location.


This position will report directly to the Director of Sales Excellence and play a pivotal role in leading the transition from our legacy ERP system to S4/Hana. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and facilitate the transition of the Commercial Organization (Lead to Cash) from legacy ERP systems to S4/Hana, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to help define commercial project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to the ERP transition.
  • Virtually project manages a cross functional team dedicated to the successful implementation of S4/Hana from the Commercial perspective, providing guidance and support to the commercial teams throughout the transition.
  • Leverage expertise in ERP systems to identify potential challenges and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated to the Commercial team with the transition.
  • Monitor project progress and performance and ensure alignment with commercial business goals, leaders, and timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing working meetings, workstream updates, and related workshops to ensure proper representation for the Process Technology commercial function.
  • Manage functional testing by leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinating with the technical teams to fix bugs and resolve issues.
  • Drive process harmonization and alignment across the commercial and other functional workstreams.
  • Conduct training for end-users, documenting new processes, and supporting the adoption of new workflows.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, data mapping, and cutover steps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address commercial process gaps and opportunities for process improvements related to the S4/Hana implementation.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 7+ years of transferable experience in a sales or commercial function.
  • 3+ years of experience with a strong understanding of SAP/ERP systems, particularly in transition and implementation projects, and their application within sales processes. 
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
