Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Quantitative Analyst
to join our team! In this role you will get to enjoy working with top level Finance managers, Program teams, and Government Accounting and Compliance experts, helping to ensure the company maintains competitive indirect rates while maximizing recoverability of indirect costs.
What you will be doing:

Function as a business partner and strategic business advisor to M&A team, Government Accounting, company management and various functional groups across the company.

Proactively communicate with functional group leaders, finance personnel, senior management and other professional staff.

Responsible for strategizing and modeling impact of internal reorgs, M&A integration, and cost accounting practice (CAP) changes on indirect rates.

Further responsibilities include, partnering with Government Accounting Rates and Factors in standardizing reporting for functional groups.

Collaborate with Government Accounting director to ensure strategies are consistent with that of the entire organization.

Lead discussions with federal government clients supporting company position on CAP changes.

Potential inclusion in other areas of Government Accounting/Finance ad hoc requests supporting executive management requests.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Math, Economics (or equivalent)
-
8+ years of related work experience in Accounting and Finance.
-
3 - 5 years’ experience in financial analysis/data modeling, specifically
-
Experience in dealing with various types of difficult and complex projects/contracts is desired.

Proficiency in using models, task automation, data analysis, data visualization, and mining data from a variety of systems using tools such as MS Excel/VBA, Power BI, Python, and SQL
-
Strong technical, data and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task is essential
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Working knowledge of government regulations (FAR, CAS, DFARS), business processes and controls, and policy and procedures.

Ability to perform in a lead capacity is also required.

Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual environment alone, as a team member, or as a team leader.

Supports the team unity concept and creates an atmosphere of cooperation in the completion of assignments.

Salary Range:
$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
