MicroHealth is seeking a Principal Project Manager. The Principal Project Manager will lead the contract supporting day-to-day operations and maintenance for the Government IT infrastructure, which includes customized government off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, security applications and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct project teams on large-scale or complex projects, serving as the ultimate authority on project decisions
  • Analyze and resolve complex project challenges through innovative solutions
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management methodologies tailored to specific project requirements
  • Create and manage long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and maintenance
  • Oversee production activities and coordinate necessary support resources
  • Establish project governance frameworks and ensure adherence to established protocols
  • Manage financial aspects of projects including budgeting, cost control, and ROI analysis
  • Serve as the primary stakeholder liaison, managing expectations and communications
  • Mentor junior project managers and team members to develop organizational project management capabilities
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies for potential implementation
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management or related area
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.)
  • Proven track record of solving complex project challenges through innovative approaches
  • Experience with enterprise-level systems analysis and implementation
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive-level communication
  • Advanced financial management skills including budgeting and cost control
Required Certifications:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
  • CompTIA A+
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
