What we’re looking for:
The Principal Process Engineer is a key technical resource and Chemical Engineering subject matter expert (SME) that is primarily responsible for one home unit but supports multiple sites and multiple manufacturing units. This role leads the definition, justification, and implementation of capital and non-capital projects improving operational effectiveness and meeting business objectives. In addition, this role provides mentoring, technical leadership, and informal direction to less experienced process and production engineers.What do we offer?

Skills Required
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and 7+ years working for an owner operator in the Chemical Industry
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 10+ years working for an owner operator in the Chemical Industry
- Proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs
- Fluent in current version of Aspen Plus or equivalent simulation software
- Operational experience with and detailed understanding of the site's chemical manufacturing process technology
- Proficiency in multiple Chemical Engineering sub-disciplines (fluid flow, heat transfer, distillation, mass transfer, process control, modeling, reaction engineering)
- Ability to participate in and lead Process Safety Management activities (HAZOP, LOPA, PSSR, incident investigations) and comply with integrated management systems (safety, GMP, environmental, quality)
- Ability to be present in the workplace regularly and work extra hours/overtime as needed
- Development of one Chemical Engineering sub-discipline to local expert level
- Operational and design experience with Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycol
- Willingness/ability to travel domestically 20% - 60%
