Role Summary

The Kyriba TMS Administrator will own and optimise Cellulant’s Treasury Management System (Kyriba) to ensure it delivers secure, efficient, and scalable support for treasury and payments operations. This role is crucial in enabling real-time visibility of cash and liquidity, ensuring the straight-through processing of high-volume payments, and maintaining the integrity of our risk and compliance processes.

As a trusted subject matter expert, the role holder will partner closely with Treasury, Finance, IT, banks, and payment providers to keep Kyriba stable, future-ready, and aligned with Cellulant’s growth agenda across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Integration

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Kyriba modules, workflows, and controls.
  • Manage user access and enforce segregation of duties across treasury and payments teams.
  • Maintain and optimise integrations between Kyriba, ERP systems, trading platforms, and banks.

Cash, Liquidity & Payments

  • Monitor and reconcile daily cash positions from multiple banks using automated feeds (SWIFT, MT940, BAI2, ISO20022).
  • Ensure seamless execution of high-volume payments through H2H, SWIFT, and API channels.
  • Drive automation of liquidity forecasting, pooling, and intercompany cash flows.

FX & Risk Management

  • Maintain FX exposure, deal capture, and hedge accounting modules.
  • Support treasury front office with accurate exposure reporting and risk analysis.
  • Oversee integration of reliable market data (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv).

Controls, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure Kyriba configurations comply with internal controls, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain robust documentation, audit trails, and change logs.
  • Monitor compliance of global payments with AML, sanctions, and KYC standards.

Projects & Enhancements

  • Lead the rollout of new Kyriba modules (FX, investments, payments factory, APIs).
  • Manage upgrades, UAT, and new bank connections.
  • Partner with Treasury and IT to deliver automation and reduce manual interventions.

Training & Support

  • Act as first-line expert support for Treasury and Finance users.
  • Deliver training and create reference materials to enhance user adoption.
  • Engage with Kyriba consultants and external partners for escalations and continuous improvement.

Internal: Treasury Operations, Front Office (FX & Investments), Finance/Accounting, Payments Operations, IT/ERP, Risk & Compliance, Internal Audit
External: Banks, Payment Providers, FX Platforms, Kyriba Consultants/Support, Auditors

Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in treasury, payments operations, or TMS administration.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Kyriba (essential).
  • Exposure to both corporate treasury and high-volume payments environments.
  • Professional certifications (CTP, AMCT, CFA, CPA) are a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Technical

  • Hands-on Kyriba expertise (cash, liquidity, payments, FX, investments).
  • Strong knowledge of bank connectivity (SWIFT, H2H, APIs, ISO20022).
  • ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and exposure to FX workflows.

    Functional

    • Deep understanding of corporate treasury operations and payments.
    • Knowledge of FX exposure and risk management.
    • Strong data and reporting capability.

    Behavioural

    • Problem-solver with a bias for action and attention to detail.
    • Able to communicate complex technical matters with clarity to non-technical teams.

    • Data integrity: Daily cash and FX positions reconciled with STP accuracy.

    • User adoption: Treasury and Finance users satisfied with performance and support.
