As a Principal SAP S/4 FICO IT Analyst here at Honeywell, you will lead complex, high-impact IT projects, using your expertise to provide guidance on IT strategy and drive data-informed decision-making.
You will report directly to our Director of IT and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday – Friday.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead SAP FI/CO solution design, configuration, and delivery with deep expertise across complex enterprise environments.
- Drive SAP S/4HANA transformation programs using SAP Activate and/or agile methodologies.
- Design and implement core finance processes including New GL, document splitting, parallel ledgers, and S/4HANA Universal Journal.
- Configure SAP FSCM processes covering Credit Management, Collections, and Dispute Management.
- Lead Product Costing, Material Ledger, CO-PA, and Asset Accounting (including S/4HANA Universal Asset Management).
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI/CO with SD, MM, PP, and PS modules, as well as downstream applications.
- Develop and support SAP Fiori applications and provide end-to-end finance architecture guidance across projects.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 15+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with extensive hands-on configuration expertise
- Mandatory experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with an external tax engine such as Vertex.
- Experience leading/Consulting S/4HANA transformation programs
- Experience in agile delivery models or SAP Activate methodology
- E-invoicing (eInvoice) frameworks and integration with SAP
- SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong proficiency in following core areas:
- New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Ledgers
- FSCM (Credit Management, Collections, Dispute Management)
- Asset Accounting, including S/4HANA Universal Asset Management
- Product Costing and Material Ledger
- CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
- Deep understanding of integration with SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and PS
- Proven experience with:
- S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal
- SAP Fiori applications
- Integration with downstream and connected applications
