Mission and Goals

We are looking to Hire a Prin. Software Engineer(iOS) to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with the required Programming language. They are a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and are able to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.

Objectives

• Works with little or no supervision.  Is able to take general direction and formulate specific tasks to accomplish the desired end result.

• Responsible for the design, development and implementation of complete software components.

• Anticipates problems and future technical needs and takes necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.

• Is looked upon to offer direction, guidance and mentoring to lesser skilled individuals on the team. 

• Completes analysis, development and/or maintenance of highly complex, undefined tasks. 

• May act as team lead or technical lead for a large portion of or an entire project. 

• Designs, develops and maintains high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product.

• May assist in setting technical product direction by analyzing industry trends, competitive information and product requirements. 

• Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.

• Able to build and maintain Web based Applications built using modern JS frameworks.

• Able to work on building services in the Cloud using the Serverless Architecture

• Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.

• Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. 

• Employs expertise as a subject matter expert.

• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors

Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 8+ years’ experience – Possesses advanced knowledge and skills in all required programming languages.

• Good knowledge of developing iOS Apps using both Swift and Objective-C

• Experience in developing applications using JavaScript based cross platform frameworks such as React Native is a plus

• Experience in UI/UX development

• Experience working on Serverless Architecture

• Experience working on Browser Extensions is a plus.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts.

• Good understanding of basic Design Patterns.

• Experience with unit testing framework such as Jasmine/Jest.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
