Job Description

We are seeking two Impact & Insights Principals to support Minderoo’s Gender Equality and Communities Focus Areas. Reporting to the Director, Impact & Insights, these roles sit at the intersection of strategy, impact measurement and learning. You will support Executive Directors and Focus Area teams to shape portfolios that are strategically coherent, evidence-led and focused on systems-level change.

Embedded within either the Gender Equality or Communities team, each Principal will play a leading role in strategic planning, portfolio coordination and impact measurement. You will support the design, approval and scaling of bodies of work; facilitate strategic planning and prioritisation processes; and steer alignment with Minderoo’s 2030 strategy. At the same time, you will lead impact measurement, evaluation and learning across the portfolio - designing and coordinating IML plans, ensuring fit-for-purpose impact and systems-change measures are embedded across work, advising on evaluation approaches, and supporting teams to use impact data and systems effectively. You will translate data, evaluation findings and learning into clear insights that inform strategy, portfolio decisions, reporting and continuous improvement.

These roles are ideal for a strategic thinker motivated to shape how Minderoo delivers impact at scale across complex social systems. You will bring deep experience in strategic planning and impact measurement, combined with strong facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to influence across portfolios. You are proactive, solutions-oriented, comfortable navigating complexity and bring a strong can-do attitude.

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. economics, social sciences, evaluation or related field), or equivalent professional experience
