The Role

As the Principal, Forward Deployed Engineering at kAIgentic, you will be the client-facing technical leader responsible for turning enterprise ambiguity into production outcomes.

You will work closely with customers to deploy, customize, and scale kAIgentic’s platform inside complex enterprise environments. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technical solutioning, customer delivery, stakeholder management, adoption, and product feedback.

You will own the customer arc end-to-end: identifying high-value use cases, shaping phased deployment roadmaps, driving pilots into production, enabling adoption across user groups, and ensuring customers see kAIgentic as a strategic partner.

Success in this role means customers move from idea to production with clear metrics, strong adoption, trusted executive sponsorship, and repeatable patterns that help us scale future engagements.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead customer discovery to identify high-value use cases, success criteria, operating constraints, stakeholder dependencies, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Co-create phased roadmaps with customers, moving from lighthouse use cases to pilots, production deployments, and scaled rollout across teams or business units.

  • Own delivery execution across customer engagements, including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, escalations, and senior stakeholder cadences.

  • Partner closely with customer teams across Operations, Compliance / Risk, IT, Transformation, and business leadership to build alignment and drive adoption.

  • Design and execute adoption plans, including user enablement, training material, champions networks, operating routines, governance checkpoints, and usage measurement.

  • Establish enterprise-grade deployment practices around security, auditability, human-in-the-loop controls, approval flows, change management, and production readiness.

  • Act as the voice of the customer internally by translating field insights, recurring customer needs, implementation gaps, and adoption patterns into actionable product and engineering feedback.

  • Build repeatable playbooks, starter repositories, integration templates, discovery frameworks, and deployment patterns that help the FDE team scale future customer engagements.

  • Identify expansion opportunities within customer accounts and shape executive narratives around business impact, adoption progress, and future value.

What You Bring
  • Deep experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Engagement Management, Technical Consulting, Customer Success, or enterprise delivery.

  • Strong ability to structure ambiguous enterprise problems into clear use cases, phased plans, technical decisions, adoption paths, and measurable outcomes.

  • Proven experience managing senior customer stakeholders, navigating complex organizations, handling difficult conversations, and building trust across business and technical teams.

  • Strong delivery ownership, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, drive execution discipline, unblock teams, and move initiatives from pilot to production.

  • Technical fluency across enterprise architecture, integrations, APIs, security, data flows, workflow automation, and production deployment environments.

  • Working understanding of AI-native products, Generative AI applications, RAG, LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled operations.

  • Experience working with large enterprise customers, ideally in regulated environments such as financial services, banking, insurance, or other compliance-heavy sectors.

  • Ability to connect customer problems to product direction, bringing structured feedback to product and engineering teams without losing sight of delivery and adoption.

  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, 0-to-1 environment where playbooks are being built while customer delivery is already live.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites across Japan, South Asia, and EMEA as required.
