Job Description

As a Principal Flooding Engineer (10+ years' experience) in our team, your impact will be in the successful delivery of projects for flood management clients and helping ensure development is flood appropriate.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage and/or support projects at various lifecycle stages related to large scale flood mapping, Council based flood mitigation prioritisation, concept design of flood mitigation, drainage scheme works, flood impact assessments.
  • Financial management of projects by forecasting, monitoring time and cost expended on project and budget health, working with client to obtain approval for any changes to scope of work
  • Prepare project deliverables and documentation of varying nature and ensuring these meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
  • Participating in client management and supporting broader business development activities

Qualifications

You will also have:

  • 10+ years’ experience is a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • CPEng and/or NER (highly desirable)
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
