The Team
Our Enterprise Architecture (EA) Teams focus on Domain Blueprints, Service Domains and business and technology strategy as we define and drive the architectural outcomes required to meet our business outcomes today and in the future.
We partner with the business to set the technology direction of the group, developing roadmaps on how the architecture target state is delivered.
We drive and support initiatives that ensure the target state architecture is incorporated in the detailed design of solutions. We work with Technology teams to ensure closed loop learnings on the implemented architectures.

This role aligns to the Operations Technology Domain and the ideal candidate has strong technological, operations management and stakeholder influencing skills. The key technologies to deliver this include workflow, document services, intelligent document processing, data and integration solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong technical, operational and stakeholder management skills. They can collaborate with diverse teams across the bank to optimise delivery through the efficient use of both technology and processes.
They need to present well and ensure they do due diligence on the direction that they set for the organisation. They must think about the enterprise and solve for the bigger picture, they must have a bias for action and deliver tangible outcomes that can accelerate the organisations transformation.
Key responsibilities:

Coaches the delivery of target state architecture solutions,

Designs architecture roadmaps, and aligns these with enterprise strategies, business objectives, (EA) standards, processes and methodologies.

Analyses change requirements and IT opportunities in enterprise business processes; provides resolutions for (EA) improvements by utilizing new technological applications.

Support solution architecture validation against Reference Architecture guardrails

Provides advice and explanations for customers in business process design and system development, including application architecture and integration architecture.

Communicates effectively at all levels from CIO/CTO/Heads of Business to our engineers and delivery team members.
