About the Role
The DSP Algorithm Engineer (Audio & AI Focus) will be responsible for designing and developing audio and speech algorithms, including both traditional DSP-based approaches and AI / machine learning–based solutions
This role focuses on algorithm design, model development, and C-based implementation, working with cross-functional teams to bring audio technologies into real products
Hands-on porting to specific DSP is not required
What You Will Do
- Design and develop audio and speech algorithms using traditional DSP techniques and AI / machine learning methods
- Develop and optimize traditional audio algorithms such as AEC, noise reduction, beamforming, EQ, dynamics, and spatial audio
- Develop AI-based audio and speech models for enhancement, analysis, and classification
- Implement algorithms in C with deployment readiness in mind, and validate and analyze performance using MATLAB and Python
- Ensure algorithms are robust, efficient, and suitable for embedded or product environments
- Collaborate with acoustic and platform teams to support successful product integration
- Keep track of the latest sound technological innovations and developments and work closely with sound algorithm partner
- Regularly documenting findings, recommendations, algorithms, software
What You Need to Be Successful
- Master’s degree in Digital Signal Processing, Acoustics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with proficiency in MATLAB and Python
- Proven experience in audio or speech algorithm development, including traditional DSP-based techniques
- Hands-on experience applying AI / machine learning methods to audio or speech problems
- Experience translating algorithms into clear and efficient C implementations
- Solid understanding of audio algorithm fundamentals and system-level constraints (latency, memory, compute)
- Experience on microphone signal processing/music post-processing and applied-AI/AI model design is preferred
- Fluent Spoken English, Professional read and written English skill
