Job Summary

Designs and delivers scalable software solutions, applying strong engineering practices and technical judgment. Plans and executes defined projects with minimal guidance while collaborating across functions. 

What you’ll be doing

• Plan and deliver defined software projects, including schedules, dependencies, and coordination with development and support teams.
• Design, architect, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Develop clean, maintainable code and drive solutions to complex technical and performance issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, users, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and architecture.
• Evaluate technical concepts and design alternatives with consideration for business objectives, cost, and product needs.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Monitor relevant technologies and apply them where they improve product quality and competitiveness.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience. 
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, and relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure or AWS; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React is desirable.
• Strong understanding of database design and development, including SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration skills.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and cost considerations.
• Medical-device software experience is preferred.
