Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
A Principal Customer Service position is currently available within the Aftermarket Service Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Position is responsible for leadership of the Engine Systems customer accounts and acts as primary interface for support and services for all matters concerning engine systems, flight controls and air transport repairs. Position responsibilities will also include assistance with spare parts sales and distribution, as well exchanges and loans.
Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop and maintain positive relations and offer big picture solutions to customers.
  • Spokesperson skills for delivery status of repair and or spare parts.
  • Analytical skills to manage resources and resolve customer problems with recommended solutions.
  • Ability to propose work-scopes and proper provisioning levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, Quality and Engineering.
  • Experience in developing Sales and Business Growth Plans
  • Facilitation skills for financial collections including prompt resolutions of invoice discrepancies and diligent monitoring of customer payment practices.
  • Support emergency requests including off-schedule support, such as AOG (Aircraft on Ground)
  • Ability to manage time in a manner required to coordinate multiple tasks and to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Negotiation skills for price & delivery.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Previous experience with government contracting agencies or Airline MRO procurement.
  • Technical understanding of electronic components and BAE Systems product applications.
  • Experience with military contracts or commercial airline procurement.
  • Engineering or Technical Degree preferred.
  • Desire previous experience in Aftermarket Repair Stations with knowledge of component manufacturing manuals as well as Military and Aerospace / FAA standards


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $84689 - $143994
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
