Job Description: Principal Consultant – Delivery (CPG)
Location: Hyderabad, India

About the Role
The Principal Consultant (PC) for Delivery in the CPG Practice at Fractal is a client-facing leadership role, responsible for the end-to-end delivery and success of analytics and digital programs. This role combines consulting, project execution, client relationship management, and offshore delivery leadership. The PC will serve as the primary offshore leader, ensuring high-quality, timely, and impactful delivery while supporting account growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
•    Serve as the primary offshore point of contact for key stakeholders in global CPG accounts.
•    Build and expand senior executive relationships, understanding business needs and aligning solutions to strategic goals.
•    Co-create roadmaps and analytics strategies to drive business impact using AI, Engineering, and Design capabilities.
•    Guide proposal development and lead the shaping of new consulting engagements and RFPs.
•    Provide thought leadership during client planning sessions and drive continuous engagement and trust.
 

Delivery Leadership
•    Oversee and manage end-to-end offshore delivery of analytics and digital projects across multiple workstreams across Fractal capabilities ranging from Supply Chain, RGM, FP&A etc.
•    Coordinate planning, utilization, and performance tracking to meet timelines and SLAs.
•    Ensure visibility of delivery metrics, proactively manage risks, and implement resolution plans.
•    Maintain strong program governance in collaboration with client PMOs, including billing, invoicing, and compliance.
•    Drive solution design reviews, quality assurance, and ensure delivery meets or exceeds NPS targets.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
•    Build, lead, and inspire high-performing delivery teams with a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
•    Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and foster career development and growth.
•    Promote innovation and excellence in AI, Engineering practices across delivery team. 
•    Contribute to internal capability development by identifying reusable solutions and supporting CoE initiatives.
 

P&L Operational Management
•    Own P&L responsibility for the account, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
•    Align staffing plans to business needs and manage operational performance in line with organizational principles.
•    Independently coordinate with Governance/PMO teams for accurate month-end revenue accruals and invoicing.
 

Qualifications & Experience
•    16-20 years of experience in CPG consulting & engineering focussed delivery, SDLC, with 10+ years in leadership roles.
•    Demonstrated experience managing large offshore teams and multiple client engagements in the CPG industry.
•    Experience with solutioning, proposal creation, and shaping opportunities with global account teams.
•    Familiarity with SDLC, cloud platforms, agile delivery, and project management tools.
•    Proven capability in handling C-level stakeholder relationships across geographies.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong business acumen.
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
•    Educational Background: BE/BTech; Master’s in Business, Data Science, or Supply Chain preferred.
