As a Principal Consultant on the Curam team, you will have significant responsibility in the delivery of project implementations. You will work closely with clients and systems integration partners at our project sites.
Essential Job Duties
Facilitate requirements and fit/gap workshops with client stakeholders, focusing on technical and non-functional requirements.
Design and implement Cúram extensions and configurations, including workflows and rules.
Collaborate with clients and partners on matters related to the Cúram Business Application Suite (CBAS) architecture, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
Develop, code, and unit test Cúram solutions in a J2EE environment using the Eclipse framework.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues where test results deviate from expected outcomes.
Establish strong working relationships with team members, system integration partners, and clients, promoting Cúram as a trusted solution.
Manage source code using standard version control tools.
Lead and mentor junior consultants on project teams.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 6+ years of experience in technical consulting
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Cúram software
Minimum 3 years of experience in J2EE/Java development
Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL)
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Information Technology or related field
5+ years of experience with Cúram software products and services
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud)
Minimum 2 years of experience in public sector human services programs (e.g., food assistance, child welfare, healthcare reform)
Education and Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree required

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
