Your future tasks at synvert Munich:
- Take over leading roles (e.g. IT-Architect, Tech Lead, Principal Consultant) in data-driven IT projects in the areas of Databricks platform engineering: project management and implementation and building strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service.
- Land & Expand, Sales: Identify opportunities and risks in projects and successfully create new roles within existing projects as well as support the pre-sales and sales activities.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction.
- Close cooperation with tech partner and growing Databricks partnership.
- Apply analytical thinking to optimize internal processes.
- Coach practice members, driving the success of the Databricks cluster at synvert Munich.
- Collaboration within the synvert group for Databricks related topics.
Requirements
- >6 years of experience in the area of Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy
- Excellent knowledge of Databricks, and hands-on experience
- Experience with managing projects as well as hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ Data Engineering projects
- Excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, Spark; object-oriented). Any other language considered a plus
- Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in Databricks
- Best Practices in designing and setting up data platforms via IaC (with all respective security related requirements)
- Bachelor / Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or in similar qualification
- Certifications in Databricks: e.g. Associate or Professional or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks
- Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
- German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to Land & Expand
- Coaching and mentoring skills

- More than 6 years of experience in platform or data engineering and consulting
- Excellent Databricks knowledge and hands-on experience
- Experience managing projects and implementing cloud or data engineering projects hands-on
- Excellent object-oriented programming skills, such as Java, Python, and Spark
- Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially Databricks
- Experience designing and setting up data platforms using Infrastructure as Code, including security requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management, or a similar qualification
- Databricks Associate or Professional certification, or a proven record of delivering Databricks projects
- Openness to occasional travel of up to 30%
