Roles and Responsibilities
As a Principal Consultant based in London, you will own the commercial performance of a CPG analytics and digital technology business. You will be accountable for P&L, grow revenue across existing and new client accounts, and lead the client relationships that drive that growth.
You will own the P&L for your client portfolio, including revenue forecasting, margin management, resource planning, and utilisation, and you will take responsibility for delivering the commitments made in your engagements. You will drive growth by engaging CPG clients in London at senior commercial and executive levels, identifying opportunities, and leading consulting pursuits from qualification through to close. You will open new revenue streams by identifying and developing adjacent offerings in marketing analytics, trade promotion and revenue growth management, demand planning, and data platforms, and by building the propositions, partnerships, and go-to-market approaches to bring them to market.
You will lead end-to-end engagements covering marketing effectiveness, promotion optimisation, revenue growth management, and demand planning. You will define the target platform architecture for commercial analytics, including data ingestion, storage, transformation, data models, and self-service analytics for category, trade, and marketing teams. You will assess clients’ existing data platforms, identify gaps in scalability, data quality, and governance, and lead the roadmap for remediation and modernisation. You will advise client leadership on investment decisions such as media mix, trade spend allocation, and pricing and promotion strategy, supported by quantified business cases. You will oversee solution quality, delivery governance, and stakeholder alignment across multidisciplinary teams that include data engineers, data scientists, and designers, and you will build and mentor the consultants who deliver this work.
