The Role

To join our Analytics Solutions Swiss team focusing on Commercial Excellence and Analytics we are now looking for a Principal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the HQ market Commercial Excellence and Analytics business and closely collaborate with other client-facing teams, e.g. KAMs and Client Partners. Develop new business by strengthening and growing the Swiss HQs client base.
  • Support client by addressing their needs with insights based on IQVIA data, analytics, experience and expertise. Understand client requirements and develop, cost, and present project proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction with limited, if any, senior management input.
  • Supervise and lead project teams including internal & external resources in design, development and delivery of client solutions, with limited senior management guidance. Create value for clients to ensure recurring business and productive, long-term relationships
  • Manage multiple consulting projects of varying complexity, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Build close client relationships from operational to senior management level at the dedicated HQ accounts
  • Proactively mentor, coach and share subject matter expertise with junior team members; actively contributing to learning, development and recruiting.
  • Act as “voice of the customer” internally, for example, by contributing to offering development.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10-12 years of relevant experience including consulting and/or pharmaceutical industry (preferably Sales/Marketing/Business Intelligence & Commercial Excellence). Master’s degree preferred. Experience in consulting in a relevant field would be advantageous.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and experience managing senior stakeholders and accounts. Record of developing long-term relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/ healthcare industry.
  • Good knowledge of markets, key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Basic understanding of IQVIA data assets and commercial data analysis is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mind set. Willingness to take on the challenge and responsibility to develop and grow the business with your clients independently with limited support by senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on time and budget. Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals. Proven record of leadership by influencing in matrix organizations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, conversational and business in English.
