Job Description

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Communications and Campaigns. This is a seven month fixed term contract opportunity, where you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing strategic campaigns to achieve our goals. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and partners to ensure successful delivery of campaigns on time and within budget.

The primary focus of the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Build and maintain effective relationships across Minderoo, fostering collaboration through our matrix-model approach.
  • Partnering with Focus Areas and Impact Missions to create and implement strategic campaign plans targeting stakeholders, including policymakers, communities, and the general public.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful messaging across various communication channels and for diverse audiences.
  • Manage all aspects of the campaign lifecycle, from development to execution and analysis/learning.
  • Develop and manage campaign budgets.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinate research and polling efforts to gather insights and inform campaign strategies.
  • Support the creation of compelling content, including press releases, articles, social media posts, and multimedia materials.

Qualifications

About You

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with robust project management experience, particularly in a matrix environment.

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing successful strategic campaigns.Management experience in policy development, media and communications, government relations and campaign development or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt to different working styles.
  • A tertiary degree in Communications, Public Relations or a similar field.
  • Ability to commit to a 7 month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension.
