Principal Business Systems Analyst

Location: North Chicago, IL

**This will be a hybrid role and require 3-4 days on-site at our client in North Chicago**

**This role is not eligible for relocation assistance**

Zifo is looking for a Principal Business Analyst to add to their team in the North Chicago area. The individual will be responsible to coordinate and support strategic projects for R&D division at Pharmaceutical and Biotech customers. The individual will provide the consulting skills required to analyze customer needs and gaps to propose solutions for the desired state. He or she will have to work with Business Users and Managers of Customers in conjunction with the internal Zifo support team.

Responsibilities:

• Review Business processes and systems
• Provide on site Business Analysis support for scientific groups
• Evaluate Industry trends to identify areas for optimization.
• Develop recommendations and future state strategy
• Perform Gap Analysis, Define Future state process workflows and data models
• Produce and deliver required documents and reports to customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or health care field required
• 20 + years as a Business systems consultant / analyst, with a majority of that in the pharmaceutical life sciences industry
• Strong background in biology and chemistry with lab experience
• Hands-on bench-level research science experience required
• Hold a solid Understanding of Pharmaceutical Research and Drug Discovery & Development processes and Biologics workflows
