As our new BIM Modeler – ELV, you will join a world class, innovation driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC (the Ramboll Engineering Centre)is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence in India. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, REC is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.
As BIM Modeler - ELV, you will undertake modelling on projects within the High-Rise Spearhead in Ramboll Denmark, contributing high quality deliverables across a wide range of building services projects. Key responsibilities and duties will be, but not limited to, the listed below:
Job Description- Perform variety of modeling assignments of ELV systems such as ICT LAN/WAN, Security – CCTV, ACS, CPMS, AV, Home Automation.
- Knowledge of domestic & international ELV/ICT codes & building codes.
- Hands on experience working with BIM 360/ACC platform and design review process.
- Possess Good Communication and Interpersonal Skill.
- Ability to work under pressure and with moderate amount of supervision.
- Flexible to adopt new work /challenge work as per business requirement.
- Perform variety of modeling assignments under minimal supervision.
- Interface with engineers and other consultants through clear communication and drawings.
- Ability to develop 3D BIM models using Revit on all different LOD levels.
- Managing CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple projects to completion within time.
- Responsible for complete clash detection and clash resolution for projects, with other disciplines.
- Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
- Knowledge of BIM Protocol, ISO 19650 and related BIM standards.
- Creating and Managing Clash Analysis, Family Creation for the Projects.
- Taking responsibility for technical quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/ modifications.
- Adhere to the schedule and quality requirements.
- Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
- Undertake self-checking initiatives whilst maintaining quality control of junior BIM modelers works and ensure adherence to all relevant design criteria and standards

- Knowledge of other software’s like Civil3D, MicroStation, Revitzo is an added advantage.
- Any knowledge in Design Automation is added advantage.
- AutoCAD
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI trained professional (expected to perform BIM modeling as the primary work function)
- 6 - 9 years of professional experience in ELV system modelling ideally having worked on Middle East & UK international projects .
- Ability to develop complex drawings with minimal guidance from other senior staff
- In depth knowledge of software’s such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- English language skills in both writing and speaking
- Experienced in 3D Revit modelling

Skills Required
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI trained professional
- 6-9 years professional experience in ELV system modelling
- Experience developing complex 3D Revit models (Revit MEP) across LOD levels
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Hands-on experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and design review processes
- Knowledge of BIM Protocol, ISO 19650 and related BIM standards
- Experience in clash detection, clash analysis and clash resolution (Navisworks usage)
- Knowledge of domestic and international ELV/ICT codes and building codes
- Ability to manage CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple projects and ensure quality/schedule adherence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; English writing and speaking
- Experience working on Middle East and UK international projects
- Knowledge of Civil3D, MicroStation, Revitzo
- Any knowledge in Design Automation
- Ability to mentor and maintain quality control of junior BIM modelers
