We are looking for an exceptional Program Manager to help oversee the strategy and delivery of the Tech S&G Onboarding experience for the programs in the Tech S&G Portfolio, which include Capital One Developer Academy, Cyber Security Internship Program, Cyber Security Program, Technology Development Program, and Technology Internship Program. The Onboarding Program Manager will be a member of the Technology Horizontal Operations Pod providing support across the Tech S&G Team to create engaging experiences for associates and interns in the Technology S&G Portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading projects and processes in a well-managed way. They should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. We are looking for team players who are solution-oriented, are comfortable working in ambiguity, and have effective program / process management, communication, and customer focus skills.
Key responsibilities of the role will vary and will include:

  • As the Onboarding Program Manager, you will serve as a critical connection point for our Horizontal Operations Pod, and interactions will include, but are not limited to our Accountable Executives, Learning & Development partners (incl. Tech S&G L&D Pod and Tech College), HR Logistics Team, and Line of Business Stakeholders.
  • Lead the strategic direction for the onboarding program / process for Tech S&G Programs, which may include defining team scope and impact, strengthening partner interaction models, and communicating team goals across the organization and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a communication strategy, related to Tech S&G Program initiatives, including, but not limited to onboarding, rotation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Utilize data to understand trends and align with partners to solve problems and improve associate and intern onboarding experience.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence leaders across partner groups by overseeing the quarterly line of business update strategy.
  • Consult and problem solve across the Tech S&G Programs Team and the broader Student & Grads organization.
  • Contribute to the team's goals through a variety of other program management functions, which may include communications support, meeting or event facilitation, assessment data analysis, and more.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of program management or at least 4 years of recruiting or at least 4 years of consulting experience or a combination
  • At least 2 years of experience in Google Suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of people management experience
  • At least 5 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
  • Experience analyzing metrics, trends, and survey data, and using them to make strategic changes
