About the Role
TCU assumes end-to-end ownership of product delivery and product line execution for one or more Ready Connect product families, including RC1.1Q (Quantel), RC1.1K (Kontron), Ready Connect JOEM, Ready Connect Stratus NAD, SATCOM TCU, and 2-Wheeler TCU. This role anchors delivery on both FFRD (hardware) and BKC (software) baselines, driving reuse, quality, and velocity across the assigned portfolio.
You will jointly shape the hardware and software product roadmaps with Product Management, ensuring that both HW and SW inputs are captured, prioritized, and executed. The role requires leading pre-sales/RFQ pursuits, supporting new customer acquisition, and institutionalizing engineering practices (PLM100, BMS M Gates, PSR) to achieve operational and innovation excellence.
You will steer multidisciplinary teams from concept to launch, ensuring traceability (IRS→SRS→TRS/TFS→Test) and robust release governance for each BKC against its associated FFRD. The Delivery Manager is responsible for integrating hardware and software requirements, balancing platform strategy with customer-specific demands, and managing SKU discipline and derivative strategy.
Additionally, you will establish and scale a cybersecurity-first, CI/CD-driven test automation and pre-compliance lab for FFRD+BKC—enabling early EMI/EMC and reliability screening, integrating security tooling into pipelines, and orchestrating HIL validation across connectivity domains (Cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi, BT/BLE, SATCOM) and vehicle networks (CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet/TSN), accelerating regulatory/OEM approvals.
The Delivery Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of products to the project and delivery organization, collaborating and working closely with these teams to ensure seamless integration, alignment of objectives, and timely execution. This includes proactively engaging with project managers, delivery leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to address challenges, synchronize plans, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
Your Team
As a Delivery Manager (Grade 12B, M3B), you will lead a focused team of 4–8 direct reports, typically including Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Integration Leads, and Test Engineers. Your organization will span 20–30 team members across hardware, software, integration, validation, and certification functions, collaborating closely with cross-functional and global teams.
You will foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and continuous improvement within your team. Your leadership will be critical in driving successful delivery of assigned Ready Connect TCU solutions, balancing technical execution with people development and stakeholder alignment.
