Principal Analyst - Billing
Reporting to: Manager - Billing
Location: Kirkwood, NY
Work Type: Office, 5 Days
The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $101,00 - $132,000
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and supporting complex billing programs.
- Manage DER and/or other specialized billing programs.
- Represent NYSEG and RG&E Billing on Joint Utility working groups, other stakeholder working groups, and DPS meetings.
- Collect data and create reports for annual and quarterly regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance of all mandates and complete annual CEO Certification review.
- Interpret PSC orders, document requirements, and implement action items.
- Support the development and implementation of solutions and/or Billing configuration changes to remain in compliance with orders and tariffs.
- Develop reports and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and make suggestions for process improvements.
- Act as liaison and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
- Anticipates billing related regulatory needs and risks and communicate with leadership.
- Act as an experienced mentor to others in business area and provide training as required.
- Transfer knowledge to raise level of productivity and expertise of business unit.
- Act as SME to support regulatory filings. May represent company at regulatory meetings, committees, or hearings.

Required Qualifications
- B.A/B. S in related field plus 10 years relevant experience, associate degree relevant or H.S diploma plus 15 ears relevant experience. Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
