Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
- Provide technical expertise in subsea and deepwater Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems, developing solutions for configuration, performance estimation, and economic analysis during the pre-ITO (Inquiry-to-Order) phase while collaborating with the commercial team.
- Design high-complexity ESP systems using proven technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Possess a deep understanding of ESP system architecture.
- Possess a deep understanding of subsea and deepwater production markets and customer economic drivers to support winning bid strategies.
- Conduct ITO technical analysis, including:
- Assessing client needs and defining optimized product solutions.
- Developing scope descriptions, schedules, and cost estimates in compliance with contract terms and internal policies.
- Prepare documentation of technical specifications and costing elements for subsequent contract execution phases.
- Support OTR (Order-to-Remittance) activities by customizing ESP products and implementing solutions tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively across the organization, presenting technical solutions to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Develop cross-technology solutions by connecting technologies and collaborating on cross-functional projects to deliver integrated solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements impacting subsea ESP applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 10 additional years of experience in Customer Application Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Subsea and/or Deepwater ESP Applications Engineering.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Artificial Lift Systems market in a Sales, Applications, or Service Delivery function.
