Job Overview
The role sits within the Research & Intelligence team, which specializes in delivering integrated market research solutions by combining Primary Market Research (PMR) with Secondary Desk Research (SDR) to generate actionable insights for clients. The team leverages multiple data sources, advanced research methodologies, and leading-edge PMR capabilities to provide a holistic understanding of markets, stakeholders, and evolving healthcare landscapes.
Essential Functions
- Support the end-to-end delivery of quantitative Primary Market Research (PMR) projects across diverse therapy areas, including studies such as ATU, demand estimation, market assessments, patient flow, patient journey/buying process, segmentation, and other strategic research initiatives
- Design and refine questionnaires and discussion guides, incorporating guidance from senior team members to ensure research objectives are effectively addressed
- Conduct robust data analysis, including reviewing tabulations, coding open-ended responses, developing table specifications, and validating outputs, ensuring findings are accurate, insightful, and methodologically sound
- Develop PowerPoint report templates and client deliverables, synthesizing research findings into clear, compelling narratives that address key business questions and support strategic decision-making
- Provide regular progress updates to project leads and managers, while contributing to internal discussions on research findings, implications, and recommendations
- Perform thorough quality control and final review of project outputs to ensure all deliverables are accurate, error-free, and client-ready
- Effectively manage stakeholder communication and support project lead in client communications through emails, presentations, and conference calls
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability as an individual contributor, delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
- Actively contribute to personal capability development through continuous learning and performance improvement
- Demonstrate flexibility and curiosity to work across a broad range of sectors within the Healthcare industry, including Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Healthcare Services, developing a strong understanding of industry trends and business challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences; MBA preferred
- Relevant Experience of 3-4 years. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with experience in consulting and market research within the pharmaceutical domain
- Experience/ academic background for sectors encompassing HealthCare industry (Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and Healthcare services)
- Experienced with quantitative PMR research and on a variety of therapy areas
- High skills of interpretation and analysis (quantitative, qualitative and integration of different sources of data assets)
- Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application
- Experience in designing/ developing questionnaire and discussion guide as per client’s objective
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work
- Should be very comfortable with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
