JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

At HBX Group, we're looking for a Pricing Strategy Lead LATAM to drive pricing strategy and profitability across our Accommodation and Mobility & Experiences business in Latin America.

This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role, responsible for transforming data into actionable pricing decisions that maximize revenue, margins, and business performance. Working closely with Sales, Sourcing, Commercial Leaders, and Pricing Operations teams, you will identify opportunities, recommend pricing strategies, evaluate performance, and influence key stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication and influencing skills, bringing experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, Yield Management, Commercial Analytics, or similar strategic business functions.

Job Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Profitability Management

  • Define and execute pricing strategies to support revenue growth and profitability objectives across LATAM.

  • Analyze business performance, margin trends, pricing effectiveness, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Make data-driven recommendations regarding pricing actions, margin adjustments, and commercial initiatives.

  • Monitor pricing performance and evaluate the impact of implemented strategies.

Business Performance Analysis

  • Lead pricing research, analysis, and reporting activities to support strategic decision-making.

  • Assess regional trading performance, profitability indicators, and customer behavior trends.

  • Identify underperforming segments, clients, or markets and recommend corrective actions.

  • Translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Commercial Partnership

  • Partner closely with Sales, Sourcing, Business Directors, and other commercial stakeholders.

  • Act as the pricing subject matter expert for LATAM.

  • Influence pricing decisions through strong business cases and data-backed recommendations.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to audiences at all organizational levels.

Pricing Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to test and implement new pricing methodologies and tactics.

  • Evaluate results of pricing initiatives and recommend broader adoption when successful.

  • Support commercial teams in understanding pricing strategy and its business impact.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on profitability, efficiency, and commercial performance.

Change Management & Execution

  • Lead the implementation of approved pricing strategies across the business.

  • Coordinate with Pricing Operations to ensure successful execution of pricing initiatives.

  • Support cross-functional pricing projects and strategic business initiatives.

  • Manage stakeholder alignment and communication throughout implementation processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Ability to interpret large volumes of data and make informed business decisions quickly.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers.

  • Ability to convert analytical findings into practical business recommendations.

  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally when required.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Tech Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience working with pricing, business intelligence, or analytics tools.

  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

  • Experience using large datasets to support commercial decision-making.

  • Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is desirable.

  • Proven experience in Pricing, Pricing Analytics, Revenue Management, Yield Management, Commercial Strategy, or similar functions.

  • Experience working in highly analytical and commercially driven environments.

  • Experience developing pricing strategies and evaluating business performance.

  • Strong track record of influencing stakeholders and driving business decisions through data.

  • Experience within Travel, Hospitality, Airlines, OTA, Ecommerce, Mobility, or other dynamic consumer industries is highly desirable.

  • Advanced English communication skills.
