Pricing Governance & Compliance Analyst
Reports to: Director of Revenue Management
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Pricing Governance & Compliance Analyst to ensure pricing decisions are accurately implemented, validated, and maintained across the organization. In this role, you will monitor pricing execution, manage pricing effective dates, analyze pricing exceptions, audit system accuracy, and support cross-functional communication related to pricing changes.
This position plays a critical role in protecting margin, reducing pricing errors, and ensuring approved pricing actions are properly reflected in company systems. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, investigating root causes, managing processes, and driving accountability across multiple teams. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the pricing governance process by monitoring price implementation activities and validating execution accuracy.
• Review daily and weekly yield reports to identify pricing discrepancies, margin leakage, and implementation issues.
• Investigate pricing exceptions and determine root causes related to system loads, effective dates, contract pricing, customer pricing, and price plans.
• Manage and maintain pricing implementation trackers, ensuring all approved pricing actions are completed according to established timelines.
• Verify that pricing changes are successfully loaded into company systems and accurately reflect approved pricing strategies.
• Monitor upcoming pricing effective dates and proactively coordinate implementation activities with internal stakeholders.
• Communicate price implementation status, effective dates, and completion updates to Sales and other business partners.
• Maintain documentation supporting pricing changes, audits, corrections, and compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and governance metrics to provide visibility into pricing performance and execution quality.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, Customer Service, IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve pricing issues and improve processes.
• Identify recurring pricing issues and recommend process improvements to strengthen pricing controls and reduce future errors.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and governance metrics to provide visibility into pricing performance and execution quality.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, Customer Service, IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve pricing issues and improve processes.
• Identify recurring pricing issues and recommend process improvements to strengthen pricing controls and reduce future errors.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of professional business experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with large data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
Preferred (Not Required):
• Experience in pricing, customer service, sales support, finance, supply chain, business operations, or commercial analytics.
