Job Summary
Supports the enterprise-wide governance process for pricing of the customer balance sheet, including loans and deposits. Provides strategic analysis/recommendations for Commercial and Consumer loan and deposit portfolio pricing by product and market through partnerships with the various strategic finance officers and senior management within the lines of business.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads, reviews, and conducts ad hoc financial analyses to aid senior management in the decision-making process impacting both the short-term and long-term financial stability of the company
- Assists in the management of the Synovus’s relationship profitability model to review and refresh assumptions, partner with business representatives and tech teams to perform model enhancements and communicates changes to all business line executives and bank users of the application
- Takes ownership of the monthly FTP validation process. Performs variance analysis and investigates flagged accounts or pool portfolios. Partners with the ALM team to investigate and communicate changes.
- Conducts impact analysis and maintains FTP methodology documentation.
- Supports in the performance of specialized financial or planning functions such as reporting, budgeting and analysis. Reviews, prepares, maintains, analyzes and reports on organizational, business unit or departmental budgets as requested.
- Spearheads analyses and determines various input assumptions for business line management and Treasury stakeholders, including loan and deposit portfolio analytics.
- Initiates engagement with the business line to support profitability, enhances documentation, and facilitates banker pricing.
- Coordinate and lead the development of integration strategies and roadmaps, and execute implementation plans for technical initiatives.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

Preferred QualificationsMinimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree related to Information systems, economics, and mathematics strongly preferred.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field
- Three years of product pricing, financial analysis or similar relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics and report generation
- Working knowledge of relational database architecture and cloud platforms
