Pricing Analyst

As a Pricing Analyst, you will work within the marketing and product management department to put into action the pricing strategy execution, build and deliver reporting to guide commercial decisions, and improve profitability. This is a hybrid role working onsite in Greensboro, NC and you will report to the Commercial Excellence and Pricing Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Help develop and implement pricing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the business
• Maintain pricing models to evaluate pricing strategies and recommend pricing adjustments based on market dynamics and our goals
• Support the market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing strategies
• Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular pricing reviews to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to sales teams on pricing negotiations, discount approvals, and deal structuring
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may affect pricing decisions
• Analyze internal cost structures, including production costs, overhead expenses, and operational expenses, to determine pricing benchmarks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Accounting, Business, or an analytics-based field ideal
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in analytics; B2B pricing experience a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (Traverse, SAP) preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) with the ability to aggregate, manipulate, and interpret different sources of data is required
• Strong communication skills across multiple departments (commercial, marketing teams) with the ability to prepare and deliver concise presentations, understanding and explaining complex data sets
• Detailed oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and detail reporting
