The Pricing Analyst - Contract Role plays a key role in supporting the execution of pricing and product data updates across multiple systems and sales channels. This position is responsible for executing price changes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring pricing accuracy through audits and reporting including Store PDFs. This is a 4-month contract position.
Price Change Creation
- Prepare bulk upload files using Choice Lists, Reprice Files, and Unit Letter (UL) Validation Lists.
- Submit bulk uploads to the Jesta system for pricing and product updates.
- Manually key in price changes when bulk uploads are not required, includes off cadence requests and MAP violations.
- Follow up with stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for price changes.
- Process product and pricing updates in Jesta, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Validate price change content and markdown (markup) dollar totals.
- Conduct spot checks to verify that price changes have been executed correctly.
- Process and obtain approvals for Drop Ship price changes.
Reporting & Documentation
- Run and distribute price change reports for reprices and unit letters.
- Create store-specific PDFs for price changes as needed for reprices, unit letters, and events.
- File completed price change PDFs for documentation and audit purposes.
Data Integrity
- Validate attribute accuracy
- Prepare & process bulk uploads as needed for attribute updates.
- Process Hierarchy changes.
- Process Tax Code changes
Exclusion Management
- Update Akeneo for exclusions for MAP and Events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, data entry, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data file formats (e.g., CSV, XLSX).
- Experience with retail systems such as Jesta or similar ERP/PIM systems is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic analytical skills and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
