- Ensuring customer prices are correctly maintained in SAP

- Helping to ensure a seamless collaboration between Sales, Customer Service (CSR), Master Data, and Commercial Platforms
- Ensuring price updates, validations, corrections, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Price Maintenance in SAP
- Maintain and update contract prices (e.g., PR00, ZR00 or other condition types) for sold‑to and ship‑to parties based on approved agreements and price change requests.
- Validate contract validity periods, pricing units, currencies, and condition amounts as part of price setup.
- Ensure correct application of access sequences, e.g., selecting between ship‑to, sold‑to or price group prices.
2. Support Price Execution Processes
- Support and guide Sales and CSR’s where missing prices or related discrepancies prevent orders from being processed.
- Collaborate and guide Sales and Account Managers with price guidance models, quote process and documentation, and approval requirements.
3. Customer & Internal Stakeholder Support
- Serve as first line support for questions from CSRs, Sales, and Commercial Operations regarding customer prices, price discrepancies, and order blockage in relation to pricing.
- Provide timely updates to customers on price-related inquiries via email or phone, maintaining a high level of service mindset and accuracy.
- Coordinate with Master Data teams for creation or update of customer master elements (e.g., price groups).
4. Quality, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure pricing changes follow the correct approval paths and ‘segregationofduties’ guidelines.
- Support governance processes around price renewals, documentation requirements, and audit trails.
- Ensure data accuracy and adherence to S/4HANA pricing model and evolving master data structures.
5. Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify recurring price issues and propose improvements together with Commercial Platforms, Sales Operations, and Master Data.
- Participate in testing and validation of pricing changes driven by S/4, Pricing initiatives, or new Salesforce pricing modules.
- Contribute to documentation, SOP updates, and internal knowledge articles.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
- Strong experience working with SAP SD pricing (condition records, customer master, sales area data).
- Understanding of B2B contract structures, customer hierarchies, sold‑to/ship‑to relationships and product dimensions.
- High attention to detail, especially with numeric accuracy and validity periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer centric mindset.
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, CSRs, Master Data, and Commercial Platforms teams.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Familiarity with Salesforce quoting / price execution flows.
- Experience supporting “missing price” issues and order processing in SAP.
- Knowledge of price groups, harmonized pricing models, and upcoming S/4 changes.
- Background in customer service, sales support, or order management.
Success Indicators
- Accurate and timely price entries with minimal order failures due to pricing.
- High satisfaction from Sales and CSRs regarding responsiveness and reliability.
- Improved governance and fewer manual corrections during price renewals.
- Strong collaboration across commercial and master data processes as S/4 rollout progresses.
Min Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- The candidate should be a graduate in Science, Commerce, or Engineering
