Pressman Trainee

Due to recent growth, we are seeking an emotionally mature, mechanically inclined, career-oriented, person to join our printing team. This person will likely work our night shift (3:30 pm-11:30 pm M-F).

The person selected will work directly with our current press team to produce high-quality products for our customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both people and machinery, have a calm demeanor and a natural curiosity about mechanical equipment. We are looking for people who have a desire to learn a valuable trade, grow with the company and develop a long-term career. NPG will provide broad manufacturing training that will benefit the employee for a lifetime in an environment that is respectful and challenging.

This is an hourly position. The starting rate of pay for this position will be $20/hr at a minimum but could be higher based on your experience. Raises will be given when you pass specific operational benchmarks. Your pay increases will be determined by the speed with which you master the various parts of the job, not based on a calendar.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, ability to work on your feet, ability to lift 70 lbs.  You must also pass a background check and a drug screening.
