Community Talent Partners is conducting a search on behalf of a client for a Press Production Supervisor to lead and support a high-performance production team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This leadership position emphasizes safety, servant leadership, and continuous improvement to build a motivated, engaged, and results-driven workforce.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety First MindsetChampion a proactive safety culture and enforce all safety policies.
Conduct safety audits, lead root-cause investigations, and promptly address unsafe conditions.
Ensure all team members receive current safety training and use proper PPE.
Model servant leadership by coaching, empowering, and developing team members.
Support operators and technicians through problem-solving and recognition.
Promote a respectful, inclusive culture that values every voice.
Train, mentor, and cross-train employees to build a versatile team.
Oversee attendance, conduct, and policy adherence with consistency.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and union discussions.
Supervise all stamping press department operations, ensuring production, quality, and delivery goals are met.
Monitor workflows, optimize manpower, and minimize downtime.
Quickly adapt to shifting priorities and maintain smooth production flow.
Lead or participate in improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean).
Analyze downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks; implement corrective actions with cross-functional partners.
Encourage and implement team-driven ideas that enhance efficiency and throughput.
Maintain accurate production, quality, and safety documentation.
Report key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues swiftly.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations (preferred).
Proven ability to lead with a servant leadership mindset.
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Prior supervisory experience, preferably in stamping press operations.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
Professional, internship, or co-op experience may count toward required experience.
Ability to stoop, bend, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Manual dexterity and mobility consistent with a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations (preferred).
Proven servant leadership approach to team management.
1–3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Supervisory experience in stamping press operations.
Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement principles.
