Position Summary:
The Software Development Presales Engagement Manager plays a critical role in bridging the gap between client needs and software solutions. This individual will work closely with potential existing clients to understand their requirements, design tailored software solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings. The Presales Engagement Manager will collaborate with sales, technical teams, and other stakeholders to drive successful presales engagements and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
- Engage with prospective clients to gather and understand their business requirements, technical needs, and project objectives.
- Conduct discovery sessions, needs assessments, and technical consultations to align solutions with client needs.
- Solution Design:
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop customized software solutions and architectures that address client challenges.
- Create comprehensive technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
- Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase software capabilities and benefits.
- Tailor presentations to address specific client needs and pain points, highlighting how our solutions can solve their problems.
- Proposal Development:
- Lead the preparation of detailed proposals, including response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs).
- Ensure that proposals meet client requirements and reflect the technical and business value of our solutions.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with sales teams, product managers, and technical experts to ensure alignment on client requirements and solution design.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient presales process.
- Follow up with the delivery team to ensure customer success
- Market and Product Expertise:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to effectively position our solutions.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client interactions and market insights.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to establish trust and credibility.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their concerns and providing valuable insights throughout the presales process.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to identify areas for improvement in the presales process and solution offerings.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for presales activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales, technical sales, or a similar role within the software development industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and architectures. Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is preferred.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations. Experience in managing client relationships and closing deals is advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to assess client needs and design appropriate solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and product management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific software platforms or technologies relevant to the company’s offerings Integration, APIM, Case Management, AI, DevOps….
- Familiarity with industry-specific challenges and solutions.
- Relevant Professional certifications related to sales or technology are a plus.

Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel to client sites or company offices.
