As an Executive Director in the Precious Metals trading team, you will provide bespoke derivatives to corporate and investor clients globally. We quote and risk manage OTC spot, forwards, swaps, and vanilla and exotic options, as well as futures and listed options, and we also engage in physical business in the gold, silver, platinum, and palladium markets.
Job responsibilities
- Making markets in both vanilla and exotic options on precious metals and crosses;
- Strategic risk management of client flows and orders;
- A strong client focus and excellent relationship management;
- Working in close collaboration with the bullion technology and Quantitative Research groups in order to help grow our electronic capabilities;
- Book trades as needed on behalf of the business.
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
- At least 8 years of experience in Precious Metals / FX or other macro derivatives products
- The ability to assess and understand risk around trading positions and market events;
- Comfort with or interest in options risk management;
- Someone who thrives on the challenge of competitive pressures and is able to remain focused on client needs;
- Maturity and ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and open environment;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Strong, disciplined approach to our controls environment;
