Columbus Oncology and Hematology Associates is currently searching for a talented individual to join our prior authorization team located in Dublin. This position will be onsite at our Dublin business location. Our mission is to improve the lives of those with cancer and blood disorders. The primary responsibility of the Precertification Specialist is to obtain prior authorizations for oncology and hematology services ordered by our healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical healthcare business office setting, preferably within the field of oncology, with working knowledge of the prior authorization process.
- Detailed understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding and medical terminology.
- Familiarity in oncology and/or NextGen is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and outstanding customer service skills.
