Working in collaboration with the Sales team, the Pre-sales Project Manager will work closely with the Solution Architects, Sales, Procurement and Project Operations to strike the balance between a competitive and innovative bid, whilst ensuring the delivery risk is mitigated.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements
  • Create project deliverables that aligns to customer expectation, budget, business goals with implementation roadmaps
  • Review tender/contract responses 
  • Provide ongoing pricing benchmarking and review solution feasibility, risks, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with the Sales team and work closely with the Solution Architects, Sales, Procurement and Project Operations to strike the balance between a competitive and innovative bid
  • Manage the project inputs and outputs to the sales tender process and throughout the Selling process
  • Participate in customer presentations, demonstrations, and solution workshops
  • Ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to project delivery teams

 

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Tertiary qualified in Business Management or Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience managing projects including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning
  • Good technical understanding of BMS or Security 
  • Involvement in sales tenders and working with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in complex environment and capacity to deliver against multiple objectives
  • Ability to identify technical solutions to customers’ business needs
  • Strong communication, written and presentation skills
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Self-Starter and ability to work under pressure
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
