About the Role
Quvia is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the growth of products and services across our Energy vertical within the EMENA region. This role combines strong technical expertise with commercial insight, working closely with Sales to drive revenue across new and existing accounts. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, designing IP-based network solutions, leading technical presentations and demonstrations, and ensuring technical accuracy in proposals. As a key interface between customers and Quvia’s Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams, you will also help capture evolving market requirements to support ongoing product development.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in telecommunications, mobile networks, or broadcasting, along with hands-on experience in pre-sales or systems engineering. This role requires excellent communication skills, cross-cultural collaboration, and the ability to travel within the region as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales teams to drive uptake of Quvia’s products and services and increasing revenue through prospective and existing accounts
- Understand the customer’s business needs and match them to Quvia products or highlight potential new product development opportunities
- Act in an in-depth technical consultative role to customers and partners designing IP networks and technical solutions
- Be able to create technical documentation, presentations and white papers as needed
- Leading technical sales and demos to customers and partners
- Perform equipment demonstrations and lab testing of network solutions
- Assist in the development and generation of formal sales proposals to ensure technical accuracy
- Act as an interface between customers or partners and Quvia, Inc. on all technical issues
- Work in tight collaboration with Quvia Product, Marketing and Engineering teams, assist in the capture of evolving market requirements to drive product development life cycles, shaping Quvia’s product and service offering
What you’ll Need
- At least Master’s degree in Math/Physics or Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent professional qualifications/experience
- At least 5-years of recent, relevant experience including:
- Experience in mobile network segment and/or broadcasting and/or telecoms.
- Experience in capacity management and/or systems engineering and/or other pre-sales engineering functions.
- Experience in managing accounts in EMENA;
- Effective English language communication skills, both verbal and written; including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Ability to interact effectively with people of various cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of digital network communications and RF signal theory, digital satellite network architectures, IP networking, traffic management, QoS. Knowledge of VSAT networks and platforms as well as TCP/IP protocol suite and network protocols (unicast/multicast, VoIP, IPsec, etc.)
- Knowledge of wireless technologies including Wi-Fi and cellular networks
- Willingness and ability to travel the continent up to 20% of the time to meet business needs.
- Ability to occasionally work additional hours as needed to meet business demands.
